Our prints are created from historic designs, patterns and engravings. Each image has been painstakingly prepared, restored and edited for contemporary use.
The imperfections of the originals are part of their charm: you will notice subtle variations in patterns, and irregularities in lines and solids. At the larger sizes these will be more visible, at smaller sizes less pronounced. Please refer to the image included of a sample of each canvas print as it appears at full size. These are below the main image on each product page. Note that there is a scale given in inches on the detail image and you may need to adjust your monitor so that an inch equals an inch.
Our canvases come in various sizes. The image is usually the same or very similar at the different sizes, just larger or smaller. A few of our patterns are cropped differently at different sizes or arranged in different ways.

What canvas do you use for your wall art?
The designs are printed on 100% cotton canvas. Our canvas weighs in at a hefty 400 grams and is an impressive 21 mil thick. We use real artists’ wooden stretcher bars to make up every frame to order. Our substantial frames are 1.5″ deep. The artwork is printed with genuine HP Vivera quality inks create up to 72 million rich and vibrant colors. These inks are guaranteed for over 75 years and are of the highest quality.
Is shipping included?
Shipping is free on stretched canvas with absolutely nothing extra to pay. Note that shipping charges do apply to our decorator fabric.
What frames do you use?
We use real artists’ stretcher bars to make up every frame to order – the way it should be done! Our substantial frames are 1.5″ deep.
What inks do you use for your wall art?
We only use genuine HP Vivera quality inks. These inks are guaranteed for over 75 years and are of the highest quality. Our inks help create up to 72 million rich and vibrant colors; helping to bring your photos to life.
How do I care for my canvas art?
To maintain & increase the lifespan of your canvas, do not expose to continuous, strong sunlight or moisture. Do not clean with a wet/damp cloth; a light vacuum with the brush attachment will get rid of any dust on the surface. We provide you with a list of really useful information to help you care for your canvas with your item.
